4 years since the last blog... did a lot of contract jobs got married in 2011. finally got a full time job in 2012 then lost it in 2014. Got a new car. doing contract work again.

Well it's a new year! no job except some contract work with UDT. Still living with my Fiancee. Latest new my car caught fire and is totaled. So now I'm looking for a new car. I have insurance but I'm not sure if I'll get any money for the burnt out car. I'll let you know...

Moved to Fort Pierce

Well since the last post I had to move to Fort Pierce with my fiancee and have been here a month. I still do not have a job and no hope for one at this point. I started to volunteer again and I am working with Red Cross in Vero Beach Florida. I'm getting back into music again. I joined LinkedIn and Facebook.

April 2009

April is here already! I know I haven't blogged in a while but nobody seems to miss it. Well, the latest news is I was laid off from my job on October 31, 2008. I have been on unemployment for the last five months and things do not look good for fining a job. Good news is I got engaged to Rebecca from the previous blogs. I got her a ring and everything. Last but not least I had an infection in my mouth and found out I'm allergic to the antibiotic. I will continue as soon as weather permits.

I know it's sooner than 6 months... I felt the need to blog about something. Dating (scream)... I going to put myself out there again. I'm going to do it through a dating service. I'm sure they will ask me what I'm looking for in a woman. Good question! I could start with the basics... She must have some smarts be able to talk about most things. Like movies and music. Keep our feelings open and slightly exposed. Must be willing to try new things and explore new places. I don't care about race, cred or religion. Patience is a virtue. Non-smoker, light drinker. No Drugs.

every 6 months

Well... I'm back blogging again. The first half of the year is over and still surviving. Most of the last 6 months have past by without any problems. I thought about getting a Motorcycle for a while and made no decision about that yet. I bought my car and it is paid in full. My son and his wife and children are doing well. I started to play music again at this Cigar store and I'm enjoying it.

The end of the year blog

Hello people it's almost the end of the year. What do you have to show for it? Me... I'm still at the same job I'm still in the same apt. I went to Colorado for a vacation to visit my brother David and his family. The first day of the new year I turn fifty years old! What does the next fifty or less year bring for me? That's a good question.

Found an Apartment

I found an Apartment in Fort Lauderdale. It's a nice place 1bd/1ba with a pool, jacuzzi and BBQ pit. I moved in on July 15th and I am starting to find my way around. I bought a couch, Dinning set and bed set. I still need a few pieces of furniture and some pictures on the wall. That will come in time. Still single.

Life has been ok since I last blogged. I have not found any place of my own yet. Prices are expensive and buying a home is impossible. I'm still at my job, July it will be a year. I'm not dating
but that doesn't matter since I'm trying to save money for my own place. My son's wife had a baby girl emily she is beautiful. I'm hoping to find an apartment by August.

New Year

Happy New Year you all! I got a full time job and I got the website of our trip to Italy up and running http:\\luriefamilytrip.com. My "girlfriend" and I are no longer involved and I'm still on the path to finding a new home. This week I started to work out at a Gym.

All most a new year

It's December and my blogging has been lean to say the least. Well... the family went to Italy and we had a great time (the web site will be finished before the end of the year). Next news, I found a job with a good company and I started in July as soon as I came back from Italy. My son's wife is going to have a baby next year and I'm looking forward to that. I'm still involved with my girl friend. I hope to be in a new home by the middle of next year.

absence make the heart

It's been a long time since I last blogged. The new year has past and we are half way through this year. I'm still out of work trying hard to find a job but no luck. I met a woman and started to date her but since I have no job she did not want to be with me any more... oh well! The family and I are going to Italy in July it should be fun I have never been to Europe before.
I'm still doing contract work and some jobs with my business (megabyte consultant). I will keep the dedicated readers inform on my successes and failures. That is all for now... Michael

Just surviving

It's been a while since I posted a Blog... Not much going on in my life. Still trying to build my business or at least get a job.

August is here

Well... Happy aniversary to me for having my business open for 1 year. Hopefully I can stay open another year... we will see... I'm going to Disney World this week with my Mother, Son his wife and grandson it should be fun.

July is almost over

Hi gang,
Sorry for the long delay between blogs... June and july have been slow months. I did do some contract work and I am still looking for a job to fill in. The trip to Port St Lucie was interesting and slightly productive. I made some connections business wise and I got a list of all new businesses that opened in Mar and April.
I'm continuing the search for a source of income hopefully by the end of August I will have a job.

Happy Cinco de Mayo! New week.... slow, not a lot of business. Worked on my newsletter sent out first one to part of my customer base. This week has been special... I went to Port St. Lucie to help Abby to get a new computer. I found that Port St Lucie is a town with some potential to it. The job market is very open and my business has more growth potential that is does in Broward County. I will be going back in two weeks for a longer period of time to get more familiar with the neighborhood. The sage continues....

I got a call from PSL today and she want to meet with me next week.

week of April 18th

I got my check from kforce and now I have some money to play with. That was monday, I also sold back my school books and got some spending money. I went to a Thai restaurant last night and got some more cigars. The comacho was the cigar I was looking for since I was driving the 18 wheeeler.
